Edel (エーデル eederu) is a noble student of the prestigious Thors Military Academy introduced in the Trails of Cold Steel trilogy.

While a noble, she has this sweet, kind, and gentle air about when her presence is near. She has a deep caring side when it comes to flowers, as she puts much effort when planting seeds and helping new flowers grow. She uses a flower metaphor of when helping someone grow who at the start is like a seed, she'll nurture them to bloom like a newborn flower. She's also on good terms with Fie who first showed her to the hobby of planting and growing flowers, ever since then, the two have a mutual bond when it comes to taking care of flowers. But behind her appearance, she can be quite surprising to others when on or off a battlefield with her knowledge in using an Orbal Staff, even Rean finds that if she was not into flowers, she be a hard opponent to beat.

SKILLS: She's a member of the Gardening Club, so she has a talent for knowing flowers by their types and how to take care of them. However, as revealed she knows how to use an Orbal Staff, but she is not devoted to improving her skill with it as she does for caring for flowers. But for someone who's not much for combat, she can certainly run Class VII around ragged, even knowing some powerful Arts. She acts out as a supporter to those she teams up with.
Battle Scope: A kind second-year student who serves as head of the Gardening Club. Surprisingly capable with an oral staff.
Edel’s Crafts: Seen in Cold Steel II.
-Sleep Shell: Edel approaches to wield her Orb Staff glowing light blue, before wavering it out to release tan yellow bubble spheres across the party with musical notes. The bubbles pop, releasing more music notes to deliver damage input on targets. Effect: Sleep. Noted: This move seems similar to Elliot’s Blue Lullaby Craft’s move.
