Beryl ( Beriru) is a commoner student of the prestigious Thors Military Academy introduced in the The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel trilogy.

When you think of a normal girl with normal everyday hobbies, best think again when around Beryl. She comes off eerie, as if displaying the abilities to see into the future, and other weird and mysterious events that she feels all-so mystical and totally just out of the zone of reality in the ways of magical forces happening around and guiding her.

Student Info: An eerie, somewhat disturbing first-year student who seems to know more than she should. Not a witch, at least.
*Journey: She is traveling around mysterious spots across the country all alone, protected by a powerful guardian spirit. Apparently. CSII
Journey’s End: Her journey finished, she agreed to come on board the Courageous. Her identity is still as much of a mystery as ever. CSII
Notes/Trivia[]
- During the midterm exams in Chapter 3 in the original game, she claims to be able to use her occult abilities to gain needed knowledge for the exams, and thus does not need to study.
- Regardless of whether or not this is true, Beryl places 5th out of all students with 940 points, just below Patrick Hyarms at 941 points, and nine points above the maximum score the player can obtain for Rean Schwarzer, 932 points.
